Happy Mask Salesman

Letter first, then the counter

Castle Town in the 2026 version is a place you can walk, interiors included. The shop is still a market stall’s worth of story: you cannot start the trade on the first visit to the castle grounds. The gate in the record is Zelda’s Letter, the errand that proves you spoke to the princess. Until that errand is done, the counter stays shut. The letter requirement explains why the shop is unavailable at the start.

Once the shop lives, he lends masks. The record calls it a four-mask trading sequence. I am not naming the four borrowers here. The stored note says four and then stops. Inventing Bunny Hood or Keaton from an older memory would pretend the 2026 text confirmed them. The payoff the record does name is the Mask of Truth, the lens that reads stones and minds in the classic quest. That reward is why the side job matters. It is not a combat upgrade.

Malon is in the related set because Lon Lon Ranch sits on the same errand web. I am not turning the ranch into this page. If you came for a full borrower walk, use a dungeon-level guide and check it against your log. Threads of Time may list the current errand. I have not seen a screenshot of that log line, so I will not quote one.

No remodel sentence

Other faces on this site have a 2026 sculpt argument. This record’s design field is empty, and the change list is empty. I will not write “he looks the same” or “he was rebuilt” without a photo comparison I can cite. The shop progression and its reward are the useful reference points for this character.
