Walkthrough by dungeon
The 2026 game keeps the 1998 route: three child dungeons, the time skip, then the adult temples. Use this as a map of order, items, and bosses. It is not a room-by-room script.
Order, item, boss
Child Link starts in Kokiri Forest, takes the Kokiri Sword and Deku Shield, and clears Inside the Deku Tree, Dodongo’s Cavern, and Jabu-Jabu. After the seven-year skip, adult Link works through the Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, and Spirit temples, then Ganon’s Castle. The table is the same order the dungeon records use.
Nintendo Life estimates that about 10 percent of puzzles and places changed. That is one guide’s estimate. IGN says the Water Temple hands out fewer small keys. I am not rewriting every room as if the 1998 maps were untouched, and I am not claiming every room was redesigned.
Threads of Time, the new log, tracks the current goal. If you lose the thread, open that log before you hunt a video. A printed strategy guide is a separate product. This page does not sell one.

Using this with a video
The overview trailer shows the new Castle Town and the ocarina, not a dungeon route. For a boss you are stuck on, jump to the enemies list. For a song a character teaches, use the songs list. Heart pieces and Gold Skulltulas are totals on the collectibles page, not hidden in this table.
Questions
What is the first dungeon?
Inside the Deku Tree, after the Kokiri Sword and Deku Shield.
Did the dungeon order change?
The published order still follows the 1998 sequence. Room-level edits are only partly documented.
Where is the Water Temple note?
IGN says it uses fewer small keys than the 1998 temple. I do not have a full key count.
