Scores I could tie to a page

The table quotes published scores. On 5 November 2026, Metacritic’s critic section displays 96 from 84 reviews, while its All Platforms line displays 96 from 87. An earlier research snapshot recorded 86. These counts have different displayed scopes; the page does not establish why they differ.

The shared praise is the rebuilt image, the orchestra, the voice work, and the new controls. The shared complaint is the low difficulty: no Master Quest and no Hero Mode. Character models are the loud argument, and that lives on the art-style page.

The 4K line

Tom’s Guide describes “gorgeous 4K visuals.” Digital Foundry’s measurement is different: docked output in the 1080p to 1440p range, handheld 720p to 1080p, SMAA plus FSR 1, no DLSS. I treat 4K as a reviewer’s phrase, not a measured mode.
