Clocks that are actually published

The US and Japan Nintendo stores both list 5 November 2026. Beebom and HowToVideoGame say the digital game unlocks at local midnight, and they both quote a US Eastern time of 12:00 a.m. on 5 November. The same reports put US Pacific at 9:00 p.m. on 4 November.

HowToVideoGame says Nintendo has not posted Europe, Japan, or Australia unlock clocks. I am not filling those cells with my own time-zone math. New Zealand and Australia are described as the earliest local midnights, which follows from the date line, but the minute is not on an official table I could read.

Preload

Beebom and HowToVideoGame say preload started on 29 October 2026, about a week before launch. A preload is not the same as being able to play. HowToVideoGame says a small unlock update still has to apply.

Size is a disagreement, not one number. Beebom cites 24.5 GB for the UK channel. The Japan and Australia store pages list 24.8 GB. The US and Brazil pages list 24.9 GB. An earlier estimate of 27 GB is still in circulation. I keep all four.

Preload is reported from 29 October 2026. Size is listed as 24.5, 24.8, or 24.9 GB depending on the store, with an older 27 GB estimate still around.
