Performance, resolution, and file size

Digital Foundry reports a steady 60 frames per second. Docked resolution sits between 1080p and 1440p. Handheld sits between 720p and 1080p. That is the measurement I use, not a 4K claim.

Frame rate and resolution

Nintendo Everything’s 4 November summary of Digital Foundry’s launch analysis reports SMAA plus FSR 1, with no DLSS. This is one technical analysis relayed by another outlet. Notebookcheck’s linked article concerns an earlier trailer preview and does not independently establish launch handheld resolution. The dock on a Switch 2 can output 4K as a hardware feature. This game’s rendered picture, in the DF piece, does not reach 4K. Tom’s Guide still says “4K visuals.” I file that as a reviewer’s phrase.

File size

Do not pick one gigabyte. The US and Brazil stores say 24.9 GB. Japan and Australia say 24.8 GB. A UK-channel figure quoted by Beebom is 24.5 GB. An early estimate of 27 GB is still in older posts, including a Nintenderos note that the listing later dropped. I keep every figure with its store.

Loading screens are still in the game for some transitions. Wikipedia and IGN both mention them. I do not have a count of how many remain, so I will not print one.
