amiibo support

What is confirmed

IGN and the Nintendo store both talk about amiibo support, and a second IGN piece names the 2027 Young Link and Young Zelda figures. The masks are the specific unlock those new figures add. I am not listing a mask for every older figure, because nobody published that grid.

IGN describes scans that can produce a recovery heart, a green potion, or Deku Sticks, in the style of a daily bonus scan. The cooldown for each figure was not spelled out item by item, so I will not invent a timer. Scan once and read the on-screen result.

amiibo are physical figures. They are not redeem codes, and Zelda Notes in the Nintendo Switch App is a companion app, not a code list.

Do old Zelda amiibo work?

Yes. IGN reports that the existing Zelda line works with this Switch 2 release.

What do the new figures do?

Young Link and Young Zelda, set for 2027, unlock retro-style masks.

Is there a code to type instead?

No. This game does not use reward codes. amiibo are scanned figures.
