Who is already here

The Kokiri live here. Saria is Link’s friend and the later source of her song. Mido blocks the path until you carry a sword and a shield, which is why the Training Center matters before the tree. The Know-It-All Brothers are the tutorial voices in the hollows. The Great Deku Tree is both a person and a building: you talk to him, then you go inside him. I am using the location record for those names. I am not adding a shopkeeper the row does not list.

Items tied to the clearing are the Kokiri Sword, the Deku Shield, Deku Sticks, and Deku Nuts. The sword is a chest in the Training Center. The shield is the shop buy that completes Mido’s demand. Sticks and nuts are the early tools, breakable and throwable. Heart pieces in this region are part of the 36, but I do not have a Kokiri-only count, so the collectibles page stays regional and unchecked by me.

What the rebuild did to the trees

The record’s remake line is short and specific: the terrain is expanded and more detailed, and time now passes continuously. In 1998, stepping indoors could freeze the clock. The 2026 game keeps the clock running, and this forest is one of the places that sentence applies. I am not claiming a new house or a moved bridge. “Expanded” is the adjective I have. A meter count would be a fiction.
