2026 versus Ocarina of Time 3D
Ocarina of Time 3D from 2011 is not this remake. It is an earlier 3DS game. The 2026 release does not replace it and does not include its Master Quest.
Three products
Ocarina of Time 3D and the 2026 Switch 2 remake are separate products with different hardware requirements and feature lists. The 3DS eShop is closed, and I do not have a sourced date for that closure, so I will not tell you the 3DS game is still for sale.

Questions
Is Ocarina of Time 3D a remake?
It was a 3DS remake of the 1998 game. The 2026 Switch 2 game is a newer rebuild, not an update to the 3DS cart.
Which one has Master Quest?
The 3DS version unlocks Master Quest after the credits. The 2026 game does not include it.
Can I play the 3DS version on Switch 2?
Nintendo has not listed a Switch 2 port of the 3DS game. That “no port” line is my reading of the catalog, so I mark it as one inference.
